LOVE IS OUR CORNERSTONE

This means that Paris Mountain Church is a place dedicated to relationships, both with God and with the community around us. We are committed to growth, connection and serving, but most importantly we are committed to love. We want to create a space for imperfect people to come and be known by a perfect God, and in doing so discovering their true identity and experiencing the love of the Father.

OUR BELIEFS

The Trinity

We believe that there is one living and true God, eternally existing in three persons - God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. These persons are equal in every divine perfection, and they execute distinct but harmonious roles in the work of creation, providence and redemption.

The Bible

We believe the bible is the inspired Word of God and without error in the original manuscripts.

Baptism and the

Lord’s Supper:

We believe that Jesus specified two ordinances, Baptism and Lord’s Supper, that should be observed and administered until the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. Water baptism consists of being fully immersed in water.

God the Father

An infinite, personal spirit, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power and love. We believe He saves all people from sin and death who come to Him through Jesus Christ.

Jesus Christ

God’s only begotten Son who was conceived by the Holy Spirit. We believe in His virgin birth, sinless life, miracles, and teachings. We also believe in His death, resurrection, ascension into heaven, and eternal intercession for His people, and personal visible return to earth.

The Holy Spirit

Third person of the Trinity, the promised Comforter, Helper, and Spirit of Christ, who lives in those who have accepted Jesus as their Savior.

The Last Things

We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom.
